BOPP SILK SCREEN BAGS
BOPP Silk Screen Bags are reusable packaging bags made from woven polypropylene (PP) fabric, with a BOPP laminated surface that provides a smooth printing area.
In the silk-screen printing process, ink is transferred onto the bag through a fine mesh screen. This creates bold, clean, and highly visible branding, making the bags suitable for businesses that need simple but effective promotional packaging.
HOW WE MANUFACTURE BOPP SILK SCREEN BAGS ?
Silk Screen Printing Process
This is the most important part of the BOPP Silk Screen Bag manufacturing process.
- STEP 1 — Artwork Preparation
The client’s logo and design are converted into a suitable printing artwork.
The artwork can contain:
- Company logo
- Brand name
- Tagline
- Contact information
- Product information
- Social media details
- Decorative graphics
- QR code
Before production, the artwork and printing details are finalized.
- STEP 2 — Screen Preparation
A silk screen/mesh screen is prepared according to the artwork.
The areas that need to receive ink remain open while the unwanted areas are blocked.
For multiple colors, separate screens may be required for each color.
Example:
A 2-color logo → generally requires two printing screens.
- STEP 3 — Ink & Color Selection
The required ink color is selected according to the approved artwork.
Common choices include:
- Black
- White
- Red
- Blue
- Green
- Yellow
- Custom brand colors
For accurate branding, the desired color reference can be provided by the client.
- STEP 4 — Screen Printing
The prepared screen is positioned over the bag.
Ink is then pushed across the screen using a squeegee, transferring the design onto the bag surface.
The result is a direct, bold print that clearly displays the brand.
For multi-color designs, the bag goes through the required printing stages for each color.
- STEP 5 — Drying & Setting
After printing, the ink needs to dry and set properly.
The bags are handled carefully during this stage to avoid:
- Smudging
- Ink transfer
- Uneven printing
- Scratches
- Design distortion
Proper drying helps achieve a clean and durable print.
- STEP 6 — Cutting & Stitching
The printed material is cut according to the approved dimensions.
The panels are then joined and stitched to create the final bag structure.
Depending on the design, this may include:
- Side stitching
- Bottom stitching
- Gusset formation
- Top folding
- Reinforcement stitching
- STEP 7 — Handle Attachment
Handles are attached according to the required design.
Possible handle options include:
- PP webbing handles
- Loop handles
- Soft handles
- Reinforced handles
- Custom-color handles
The handle attachment points are reinforced to improve carrying strength.
